Longs Caps are made of tough, flexible vinyl. They are ideal for protecting long bolts or providing a clean finish to the end of a tube. Longs caps can be applied quickly and easily. No matter what the application, they fit snugly without cracking or splitting. Long caps also possess excellent insulation qualities and resist weather, moisture and chemicals.

ID: Long Caps should typically be sized to match the O.D. (outside diameter) of your part. Example: If your O.D. is 16.00 mm, use a 16.00 mm Long Cap. For a tighter fit, choose a smaller diameter. Smaller diameter caps can be applied more easily by using soapy water or heating the parts to make them more pliable.

Length: Long Caps are available in various lengths up to the maximum shown, within 1.57 mm increments. On Round End caps, Inside length tolerance is ± 1.57 mm. Inside length is measured along the side wall to the radius of the closed end, not down the center.

Wall thickness: Wall Thickness "C" is measured 6.35 mm from the open end, increasing slightly toward the closed end. Wall tolerance is ± 0.25 mm.
